Auto: Russian licenses should be carried with an IDP, French or Arabic translation. Rentals are roughly €25-60/day for Clio, i10/Symbol class and more for Duster, 4x4 toward desert edges. Algeria, Libya crossings are not normal rental-car routes and may be prohibited; domestic desert drives need route and insurance confirmation.
