Auto: Russian licenses should be paired with an IDP, Spanish translation. Rentals are roughly $30-70/day for Picanto, Accent, Yaris class and more for 4x4 beach, volcano roads, with insurance deposits important. Costa Rica, Honduras crossings are usually not allowed or require special permits; border queues at Penas Blancas can be long.
