Auto: Russian licenses should be paired with an IDP, English translation; ASEAN licenses get special ease, but Russian ones need translation comfort. Singapore, Thailand crossings are possible only with rental permission and insurance, entry paperwork; queues at Johor-Singapore can be brutal.
